Elsie had never had a lolli-pop until today, Halloween 2008. She has been intrigued by them for quite some time, but I have not allowed her to have one. Today, I caved and she LOVED it! She has had enough sugar today to last her at least a month!
This morning Elsie wore her Halloween costume to school and participated in their annual Parade of Costumes. It was the cutest thing you have ever seen! They also had a party at school for the children. The first thing I heard from her upon pick up from school was "Mummy, M&M's are sooooo yummy!"
On the coldest day of the year so far (it was a chilly 56 degrees), we bundled up the babies and ventured out to do our civic duty....We voted! (FL is one of 31 states which has eary voting) I sincerely hope that everyone reading this makes his/her voice heard in this election. In spite of the CNN news reports, all was very well organized and went very smoothly. We only waited 1 hr from start to finish and we got our little sticker that says "I Voted!"
A dear friend of mine and I share the same birthday. The new man in her life is her beautiful horse and we spent Saturday celebrating with her down on the farm! I am a city slicker myself, but Elsie LOVED the "real horsies."
First and foremost a wife and mother. An aviator by trade, the most important thing I pilot at the moment are the lives of my children, Elsie, Tripp and Tess. Hubby David flies for everyone's favorite airline, Southwest, and I fly for American. We love to fly but we cherish our time together at our home, Wilner Manor.
