Daddy was home alone with the 3 kiddies yesterday for about an hour and when I returned, I was informed that they had all turned into Superheros while I was gone! Well, then came the video footage to prove it! I have watched it several times and it still makes me crack up!

Cute Bums

These snap shots make me laugh and laugh! It was not a special day, in fact this same moment repeats itself almost every night in my home. They all love the water and the bath is a special, all-be-it chaotic time of our day. It is these moments that I want desperately to remember but I know will fade with time. Thank goodness I can capture it on film! Hope it makes you smile too.Tuesday, September 1, 2009
We had our fundraiser for Aubrey Opdyke today and it was a huge success! The news story said it was thanks to me, but they had that wrong! It took so many people to make this day happen. My dear friend, Holly, was actually the mastermind behind the idea of doing a fundraiser for the family and she presented it to our Palm Beach County Mommies of Multiples group. We all embraced the concept, but struggled with exactly what to do....a bake sale, donations? We were stumped until I heard that Chick-Fil-A hosted fundraisers and I suggested that. Holly loved the idea so we decided to pursue that. That was the week Holly had a house full of sick kids, so I made the phone calls and the contact with Chick-Fil-A's Jen Brown, who is the Marketing Director at the Palm Beach Lakes and Okeechobee locations. She was terrific and she took care of all of the logistics at the store. Holly and I did the marketing for the event and spread the word with the help of Holy Cross Preschool, where Hope Opdyke is a student, and many others. Thanks to everyone who participated in this special day. It was wonderful to know that we were coming together to help a family in need.

Dinosaurs by the Sea

Friday evening, Elsie's friend Micah had his 4th Birthday party....a Dino themed bash at the beach! It was tons of fun. Micah's Mommy and my friend and partner Lydia, made a fabulous looking dino cake with Hershey kisses as the spines down his back...so cute! Elsie has a blast and cried when we left! Happy Birthday Micah.Thursday, August 20, 2009
Swim Team
This is Elsie's brand new swim team suit and cap! When I first took her to observe the swim team program, she noticed that her suit was not like the other "racing suits" and she said she needed a "swimming hat." So....off I go to Sport's Authority for both. She was thrilled when I can home with them and wore them around the house all that day. Today was day 2 of swim team and the emsemble still holds the same magic! LOL The video is from today's practice. Elsie is in the middle of the screen when it begins to play! She is the littlest one in the group and she is terrific!First Day of School

Elsie's Teacher...Mrs. Downes! She is in the "Big Girl" class this year and she LOVES her teacher!
It POURED during drop off time on her first day of school so I put Elsie in my emergency rain slicker and she was sad because it covered up her special sunshine dress. My MIL made the red dress and then Elsie and I painted the adorabel sunshine on it with fabric puffy paint! The sunshine is the logo of Holy Cross Preschool...the most wonderful place on earth.Thursday, August 13, 2009
Loggerhead Turtle Sanctuary
This place is amazing, and we have been here several times, but Tuesday we took my cousin Dana, and her little 8yr girl Kylie who are visiting from LAX. We walked in at 11:55 and the lady at the desk asked us if we were here for the release!!! We couldn't believe our luck! We had stumbled upon the day that they were releasing a rehabilitated turtle into the sea and it was all taking place at 12 noon! We raced out to the tanks to see them loading the turtle onto a turtle stretcher and then we all went down to the beach and lined the staked out "runway." We watched them send the turtle home to the ocean and the crowd cheered! It was an awesome moment.

Contagious Laughter
At almost 1 year old, the twins are amazing and SUCH individuals! Their laughs are totally different, but both highly contagious, not only to everyone around, but to eachother! Hilarious!
