More Swimming

More Swim Team! She looks so adorable and SO LITTLE in this giant Olympic size swimming pool and it looks SO FAR across when she takes off swimming! She LOVES it....there is a grin on her face the whole time she is in the water! I am so proud of her! You Go Girl!

Dinosaurs by the Sea

Friday evening, Elsie's friend Micah had his 4th Birthday party....a Dino themed bash at the beach! It was tons of fun. Micah's Mommy and my friend and partner Lydia, made a fabulous looking dino cake with Hershey kisses as the spines down his back...so cute! Elsie has a blast and cried when we left! Happy Birthday Micah.

Swim Team

This is Elsie's brand new swim team suit and cap! When I first took her to observe the swim team program, she noticed that her suit was not like the other "racing suits" and she said she needed a "swimming hat." So....off I go to Sport's Authority for both. She was thrilled when I can home with them and wore them around the house all that day. Today was day 2 of swim team and the emsemble still holds the same magic! LOL The video is from today's practice. Elsie is in the middle of the screen when it begins to play! She is the littlest one in the group and she is terrific!

First Day of School

Elsie's Teacher...Mrs. Downes! She is in the "Big Girl" class this year and she LOVES her teacher!

It POURED during drop off time on her first day of school so I put Elsie in my emergency rain slicker and she was sad because it covered up her special sunshine dress. My MIL made the red dress and then Elsie and I painted the adorabel sunshine on it with fabric puffy paint! The sunshine is the logo of Holy Cross Preschool...the most wonderful place on earth.

Loggerhead Turtle Sanctuary

This place is amazing, and we have been here several times, but Tuesday we took my cousin Dana, and her little 8yr girl Kylie who are visiting from LAX. We walked in at 11:55 and the lady at the desk asked us if we were here for the release!!! We couldn't believe our luck! We had stumbled upon the day that they were releasing a rehabilitated turtle into the sea and it was all taking place at 12 noon! We raced out to the tanks to see them loading the turtle onto a turtle stretcher and then we all went down to the beach and lined the staked out "runway." We watched them send the turtle home to the ocean and the crowd cheered! It was an awesome moment.
