South FL Fair

We spent today at the annual South Florida Fair and what a blast we had! Elsie rode on EVERY ride and wanted more! Yes, this is her up there in that Ferris Wheel with Daddy. She kept asking all day to go on it and I finally let her....she went on it twice!

This is the gondola that goes the whole length of the fair grounds....she rode that twice too! I was scared, she was hanging over the edge waving at Daddy below! This pic is the second time she rode it...I made her take Daddy the second time! LOL

The classic and ever popular bumer boats!

Elsie and Mummy on the Swing ride. This one I loved...went on it twice! Wheeeeee

Daddy in the taxi car..."not allowed to drive Daddy, just ride!" Beep Beep!
This hot air baloon ride went up and down and spun around...she loved this one too and wanted to go on it "by myself!"
This was one of the highlights of the day....riding on the pony. We did this twice too! She kept yelling "giddy up pony...faster!" The attendant was cracking up

This was taken in the "Moo-ternity" tent. This cow was about 8 hours old.

Feeding the livestock.....her favorite were the goats, but this big cow was a close second.

The babies at the fair.....they stopped traffic wherever we went.

We all left the fair feeling about like this!....What a great day.

Big Sister

Yesterday morning was a crazy one. Tess woke first (ALWAYS) before 6am...UHG. Tripp is usually next at 6:30 then Elsie at 7 or 7:30...sometimes even 8, but not nearly often enough! LOL Anyway, Elsie woke at 6:30 and Tripp slept till after 7. When I sat on the couch to feed Tripp, I was immediately joined by Big Sister who wanted to "feed Tripp BY MYSELF!" "By Myself" is a theme in her little life right now. We all piled on the couch in our jammies and Elsie fed him by herself! She did an excellent job, beaming the whole time, and then lifted up the empty bottle and said, "Mummy, Tripp had 8 ounces!"...she doesn't miss a thing! She was so excited about the whole event she told everyone we saw that day that she fed her baby brother....sooo cute.

Cleared for takeoff

Taken today by my hubby, this is Tripp flying high in his big sister's pink airplane! I think flying is in the genes, so he might as well get started early!

Cutie Pie

This pic I took yesterday and it is also on my web site, but it was so cute I had to share it with the bloggers!

Dupicated

For those of you who also follow my web site www.milnerfamilyphotos.com, please forgive the duplication, as these pics are also newly posted there, but they are so FREAKIN' cute, that I had to put them here for all of the Blog followers to see too! When she was born, Tess looked EXACTLY like Elsie as a newborn, but as she gets older, she is really coming into her own. People often tell me that she looks like me, which they also said with Elsie but I never saw that...still don't really, except in mannerisms. Tess, on the other hand, I do see a resemblence to me. Glad to know I had something to do with it! LOL

Playing Together

This footage is grainy because I took it with my cell phone, but it is them sitting (YEAH!) and playing TOGETHER!....sooooo cute! They really have an awareness of eachother. Everything they say about the "twin thing" seems to be true.

Depends on who you Ask

What is this picture of? Well, it depends on who you ask! Elsie will tell you one thing and I will tell you another. As she reaches for Tess' toy, (just off camera) I asked her, "Elsie, are you taking Tess' toy?" "No, Mummy," she replies, I am going to show her how to do it!" I laughed until I hurt.

The Big One

We have a new addition to our back yard landscaping.....a "pond"....actually a large tupperware storage container filled with water from our swimming pool, one bucket at a time! Elsie then proceeded to go up and down the stairs to the bathtub recruiting all of the "tubby toys" that could live in her pond...the frog, the turtle, the duck and the fish.....AHHHH..fish..."I need a fishing pole!" She ran toward the forbidden shed and then stopped short...such a good girl! Daddy to the rescue! He emerged from the forbidden shed with a fishing pole and Elsie proceeded to stand on the "banks of her pond" and "fish" for about 45 mins! Soooooo adorable!
This time it was Mummy to the rescue....I tied a big orange fish named Dorothy (yes, from Elmo) onto the end of her line. "Look Mummy, I got a Big One!"
Oh, the imagination of a child.

Before and After

Elsie LOVES bubbles! The first time I made her a bubble bath, when she was about 1 1/2 years old, she screamed so badly that I had to get her out, drain the tub and start over! LOL Those days are history. Now when I tell her it is time to get out, this is what I get:

Fun is over!

Our New Exer-saucer

Friends of ours, The Kennimers, let us borrow their "exer-saucer" this flying-saucer looking thing that the babies sit int he middle of, spin around in, and play with ALL KINDS of different toys! They LOVE it! Thanks Holly!

Sitting Progress Report

Tess is more coordinated and relys on finese' while Tripp powers through with brute force...classic Mars/Venus I guess, even at 6 months old!

Day at the Zoo

We spent the day at the zoo with our dear friends the Kennimer's. Elsie ADORES their son, Mason, who is in her preschool class. They were more enthralled with eachother than any of the animals! What a terrific day!

FLL Layover

Yesterday, David's working trip took him to...believe it or not, Fort Lauderdale! He was staying in a hotel there so we piled into the car and went to meet him. We all went swimming in the beautiful hotel pool and had lunch poolside. It was wonderful. Gotta love the perks of the job!

Rolling, Rolling, Gone!

What a cutie-pie Tripp is!
Now that he has figured out how to roll over, that is all he wants to do.

Hey......I have feet!

At the Beach

Trying on Grandma's floppy hat!

Naptime at the beach....Daddy dug us a hole and make a sand crib. Tripp slept well...like a baby...and Tess just looked around. "Way too much going on to close my eyes!"

Boy do I love my Grandma!

A Wet One

We are having a "wet" New Year! Not in that rainy, snowed-in way that many of you are having, but in the 85 degrees and sunny swimming pool kinda way! I know...rubbing it in! Come on down....the water is beautiful!
